Treatments offered
Spinal Manipulation
Manipulation of the spine is the most common form of treat used by chiropractors. By using our hands, we can perform gentle "pushes" to the joints of the body and help restore a better range of motion, decreased muscle spasms and improved blood flow.
Graston Technique
Also known as "instrument assisted myofascial release", Graston is one of the best adjunctive therapies I've ever experienced to help assist the other treatments of the body I perform. Basically, Graston is a form of deep tissue massage that helps break-up adhesions and scar tissue. Serious athletes LOVE this form of treatment to help their muscle recover and remove old injuries that seem to keep lingering.
Flexion Distraction Technique
F and D is a form of spinal traction and decompression. While the patient lays face down, the table will stretch the body helping to pull the vertebrae apart from one another and ease the pressure on the disc between the vertebrae. Also, the technique gently helps to restore ranges of motion and stimulate joint "mechanoreceptors" which give the brain different information to "listen" to instead of pain sensory information all the time.
Metagenics Nutritional Counseling
I am not a nutritionist, however, I am able to give some advice on how to live a healthier lifestyle and make choices that could help you lose weight and have less pain. I use primarily Metagenics line of supplements because I feel they are the best researched and they clinically improve upon their products every year.
Footlevelers Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers
Most of us have one leg shorter than the other or have a bad foot or ankle which alters our body's posture and alignment. Footlevelers are orthotics we custom build and put in your shoes to help better align your spine. Years of chronic low back pain often benefit from Footlevelers.
